We offer a floral revolution in New Zealand.  Similar to new world tastes, floristry has come a long way both at home and around the Pacific.

Floratechnics is about combining flowers into fusion taste - a taste that reflects our modern nation, our colour, our 'Pasifika.' .. A style that can be described as 'Pacific Funk.'  Using classic design principles, we build with a new age beat.

Floratechnics is also about recognising the cultural significance of flowers, and their use and meaning within each of our nation's ethnic groups.

Owen arrived in NZ over 25 years ago to join the Royal NZ Ballet from the QLD Ballet: A professional dance career, that also included set and costume design, that spanned over 10 years. On retirement from dance, Owen set about to see the world and joined the national airline as a flight attendant.
After 18 years of service Owen took a voluntary redundancy package and began a journey into finding the creative soul that was left behind due to corporate life. Recently, Owen embarked on new learning, that of floral design. Recently graduated from his national certificate course Owen's desire is to create conceptual floral design for events and floristry on a more personal level for clients, that capture the elements of his worldly learning and theatrical ability.  A revolution...
His involvement in the service industry enables Owen to bring together many different elements and experience in his floral work for events and personal floristry.
